Arboretum of Eden

Welcome to the College of the Atlantic Arboretum

Plant Collection

Arboretum of Eden has over 100 species of trees and shrubs from many different parts of the world. Our collection holds plants from North America, Europe, the Mediterranean,  China, Japan, and Korea. Some of the most outstanding specimens is a group of copper beech trees (Fagus sylvatica L. var. purpurea Dum. Cours.) growing by Turrets. There are also several magnificent White Pine trees (Pinus strobus) and Eastern Hemlock trees (Tsuga canadensis). These trees represents the enormous botanical diversity of the world and through their memories they connect the past into our presence.
